Piratas a por el tesoro

Otro mural que ya había hecho hace un par de meses, en abril, concretamente, y que por problemas técnicos, no he podido fotografiar como se merece. La pared es enorme, 6m de largo y es el "cabecero" de las camas de dos hermanos a los que les gustan los piratas.
La "Familia pez" ya tiene sus fans en Facebook y de hecho la he incluido en el último mural de nuevo a petición del cliente ;P Para que os hagais una idea, la familia de peces va justo encima de la mesilla de noche que queda entre las dos camas y el barco pirata justo encima de la cómoda. Espero que me manden una foto del cuarto cuando esté amueblado y perfecto, porque no sé a vosotros, pero a mi me gustaría mucho verlo completo :D

This is another mural I already did a couple of months ago, in April. Because of technical problems, I could not photograph it as it  deserves. The wall is huge, 6m long and is the "head" of the beds of two brothers who like pirates.

The "Fish Family" has its fans on Facebook and in fact I have included them in the last mural on customer's request ;P 
To give you an idea, the fish family is just above the bedside table between the two beds and the pirate ship just above the dresser. I hope they send me a photo of the room when it is furnished and perfect, because I do not know what you think, but I would love to see it complete  : D

Mural Pirata

 Mi último mural ha sido para dos hermanos en su nuevo cuarto. A partir de ahora surcarán los mares del sur en busca de tesoros escondidos o charlarán con la familia pez, por ejemplo :D

Hace algunas semanas que lo terminé y todos los que me seguís en Facebook habeis podido ir viendo el proceso, el paso a paso. Aunque las fotos son lo mejor que he podido obtener dadas las características de la habitación (muy laaarga y estrecha) espero que los que no teneis acceso a Facebook, os podais hacer una idea del resulado final con el pequeño montaje que he hecho. Si algún día consigo fotos mejores, no dudeis en que las sustituiré por estas.

La semana que viene empiezo otro, y aunque aún no está muy claro el tema... sí sé que habrá castillos, caballeros, princesas y quizá alguna sirena... a ver en qué acaba :D

My latest mural has been for two brothers in their new room. From now on they will sail the South Seas in search of hidden treasures, or have a chat with the Fish family, for example : D

I finished it a few weeks ago and all who follow me on Facebook, have been watching the process, step by step. Although the photos are the best that I could get given the characteristics of the room (very looong and narrow) I hope everyone that hasn't been able to see it in Facebook can get an idea of the result with the small photocollage I have done. If i ever get better pictures,I'll replace them for these.

Next week I start another mural painting, and although the subject is still not clear... I know there will be castles, knights, princesses and maybe a mermaid ... Let's see what finally comes up : D

...y llegaron a Holanda :D

Como veis las camisetas llegaron a Holanda y fueron muy bien bienvenidas. No son preciosas las niñas? ¡Muchas Gracias Bas! :D

Delantales

Por fin hoy me he decidido a hacerle algunas fotos a los delantales que diseñé cuando hice la cocinita de juguete . Nunca encuentro el momento adecuado, intento que mis hijos hagan de modelos, pero muchas veces no hay exito jaja, así que hoy decidí tenderlos al sol en la azotea de casa, y justo cuando subí, se fué el sol radiante casi de verano que teníamos y empezó a ventear...
En fin, este es el resultado de mi sesión fotográfica de hoy. No muy exitosa, la verdad. Pero espero que sirva par enseñaros por fin los delantales que he estado haciendo últimamente. Son reversibles y las cintas "corren" arriba y abajo, por lo que se pueden ajustar a distintas alturas. Algunos modelos (como el de la sandía) los tengo a juego madre o padre e hijo. Otros sólo los hay de niño/a y la talla viene a ser más o menos entre la 3 años y la 8. Los de adulto cubren sin problemas los 1,85m que mide mi marido. Y los puedo hacer en otros tamaños, con otras telas... De momento hay bolsillos de sandía, huevo frito, manzana y plátano y probablemente se me ocurra alguno más ;D

Finally, today I decided to take some pictures of the aprons I designed when I did the toy kitchen. I never find the right time, try my children to do modeling, (but there is often no success ha ha), so today decided to go to the roof of the house to take them, and just when I went,  the summer sunshine that we had went away and a wild wind came ...

Anyway, this is the result of my photo shoot today. Not very successful, really. But I hope it will finally show you some aprons I've been doing lately.They are all reversible and straps "run" up and down, so it can be adjusted to different heights. Some models (like "watermelon") come in twins: both mother /father and son sizes. Others just come in child size and height suits more or less between 3 and 8 years . The adult size covers without problems the 1.85 meters of my husband's. And I can do in other sizes, other fabric combinations ... At the moment there are pockets in the shape of watermelon, fried egg, apple and banana and probably I will think on more of the sort  ; D

El tren de Sebastián...por la via va!

Sebastián ya tiene su tren regalo de su 4º cumpleaños... Y está muy contento :D

Y con esta creo que sólo me falta una nave espacial y un submarino para completar mi colección de transportes... ¿Me falta alguno más?

Sebastián got his train for his 4th birthday, as he asked... And is as happy as Larry, I have heard :D

And with this I think I just need a spaceship and a submarine to complete my collection of transport ... Am I missing any more?

Maria y Carlota

Hace unos dias, Debora una compañera blogera me encargó unas sudaderas para sus hijas María (jugadora de baloncesto en el Asefa Estudiantes) y Carlota (Que sueña con ser cocinera y montar su restaurante "casa Carlota")

y ahora, una vez entregadas, me ha enviado fotos de las niñas con sus sudaderas, lo cual, ya sabeis que agradezco mucho.

A few days ago, a fellow blogger, Debora commissioned me some sweatshirts for her daughters, Maria (basketball player in the Asefa Estudiantes club) and Carlota (who dreams of being a cook and set up her own restaurant, "Casa Carlota")

and now, once delivered, she sent me photos of the girls wearing their sweatshirts, which, you know I appreciate a lot.

Con la boca así de abierta me he quedado, ¡qué divertida! :D

¡Qué bien que todas me mandais fotitos de camisetas en acción, de verdad que es magnífico verlas puestas, se hacen con tanto cariño que luego de pena no saber más de ellas, pero ya veo que al pollo loco le va divinamente y hasta ve mundo :D además de venirle a Inés como anillo al dedo, porque esta niña no tiene pinta ni de aburrida ni de sosa jaja más bien tooodo lo contrario ;P

I'm very glad that you are sending me pics of my t-shirts in action, really it's great to see them again . I make them with such care and love that not knowing more about them when i give them away it's a pity. But now I can see that "crazy chicken" is doing pretty well, and even seing world  : D on top of suiting Inés like a glove, because this girl does not exactly look boring or dull ...  seems to me rather the opposite haha ;P

"y Max dijo... ¡¡MONSTRUO!!"

Uno de mis libros favoritos es "Donde Viven los Monstruos" de Maurice Sendak, así que crear monstruos es más placer que trabajo... Me lo he pasado en grande dando vida a Atila, que ha sido adoptado por Sandra y su hijo Sergio... y creando esta camiseta monstruosa para él :D

One of my favorite books is "Where the Wild Things Live" by Maurice Sendak, so creating monsters is more pleasure than work ... I've had a great time giving birth to Attila, who has been adopted by Sandra and his son Sergio ... as well as creating this monster T-shirt for him :D

Cumpleaños de Ana

Camiseta a modo de retrato de la lindísima Ana, encargada con motivo de su cumple. La verdad es que la mamá  ha aportado una foto tan dulce de una niña tan mona que el trabajo ha sido un placer. Sencillo, pero bonito.
Espero que la disfrutes mucho Ana :D

T-shirt as  portrait of  the very pretty Ana, commissioned on the occasion of her birthday. The truth is that her mum has provided me with such a sweet picture of so cute a girl,  that my work has been a pleasure. Simple, but nice.

Cádiz y última camiseta

Este fin de semana estuve en Cadiz. Hizo un dia espléndido y estuvimos casi todo el tiempo en la calle y en la playa... Estuvo muy bien. En una placita del barrio de la Viña vimos esta escena y no me pude resistir a fotografiarla. Atención al cartel y a la portería "portátil" (Quizá tengais que ampliar la foto). Genial.

El Lunes, de vuelta al trabajo hice esta camiseta para una niña que adora las hadas y los elfos...Y no sé porqué intuyo que no será la única, de hecho aún me extraña que el tema haya tardado tanto en salir..hmm

This weekend I was in Cadiz. It was a splendid day and we were almost all the time on the street and on the beach ... It was very good. In a small square in  "La Viña" neighborhood we saw this scene and I could not resist taking a picture. Pay attention to the sign on the wall saying "ball playing forbidden" and the portable goal. (You may have to zoom in the pic) Just great.

On Monday, back to work I made this T-shirt for a girl who loves fairies and elves ... I do not know why I feel that it will not be the only one, in fact I still wonder why the fairies has taken so long to show up. hmm ..

Maria y Beatriz

Otras dos camisetas para sendas hermanitas de Madrid, encargadas para Navidad y que ahora por fin puedo enseñar. Las niñas, mamá y tita quedaron encantadas y yo más de que todas estemos contentas :D

Other two shirts for a couple of sisters living in Madrid, comissioned for Christmas and which now I can finally show. The girls, mom and auntie were delighted with them and I am also to see that all we are more than happy :D

Mural viajero

El  mural por fin está terminado, ha sido un trabajo entretenido y minucioso, lleno de detalles pero creo que finalmente ha quedado bastante bien. El cliente había visto en una revista de decoración una habitación infantil decorada con un mapamundi en linea blanca sobre fondo crudo  (Supongo que alguno de estos de Estudio Stencil) y esta fue la idea base de la que surgió todo este escenario aventurero para el dormitorio de dos mellizos muy internacionales y viajeros, que al final tiene  mucho de ellos y de mí aunque como digo, la base del mapa no es para nada original. 

La habitación es bastante amplia y luminosa y se han decorado dos paños garandes de pared en la zona de dormitorio/juegos y un pequeño pero alargado espacio que queda entre éste y el acceso al baño con un medidor que reproduce una girafa y un personaje finlandés a los que la familia tienen especial cariño. además, al estar pintado con pintura magnética, funciona también a modo de divertido tablón de anuncios.

Aún están terminando la decoración de la casa, así que supongo que cuando todo esté en su sitio y completo estos niños van a disfrutar de lo lindo en esta habitación tan divertida. ¡Cómo me hubiera gustado a mi tener algo así en mi cuarto cuando era pequeña!

Espero que os guste y que Estudio Stencil no se tome a mal que hayamos tomado prestada su idea del mapamundi.

The mural is finally finished, it has been a fun and thorough job, full of details but I think it finally looks  pretty good. The client had seen in a magazine a children's room decorated with a map in white line on a cream wall (I guess some of those from  Estudio Stencil ) and this was the basic idea of this whole scenario in the bedroom of a couple of  international  and traveler twins, which in the end has a lot from them and from my world, but as I said, the base map is not an original idea at all . 

The room is quite spacious and luminous and i've decorated  two walls  in the sleep/play area and a small but elongated space between it and the access to the bathroom with a giraffe and a Finnish character, for which the family has a special affection and which acts like a mesurement wall. It is also done with magnetic paint, so it can be used as well as a fun notice board.

They are still finishing the decoration of the house, so I guess when everything is in place and completed these children will enjoy their beautiful room very much. How would I have liked to have something like this in my room when I was a kid !

Nuevo proyecto entre manos

Creo que estaré al menos una semanita con esto... es una habitación bastante grande, pero va a quedar preciosa. La girafa que veis negra, está pintada con pintura magnética. Cuando esté acabada será un medidor para los mellizos y un "tablero" magnético al mismo tiempo. Estoy deseando verla terminada porque es la primera vez que utilizo este tipo de pintura... Ya os contaré cómo queda cuando esté terminado.
