mini tutorial de Lolilla

1) Coser el cuerpo a la cabeza dejando un hueco en la parte trasera del cuello (yo lo he hecho en el cuello, pero puede ser complicado para darle la vuelta si haceis el cuello estrecho, así que también podeis utilizar la parte superior del pelo o posteriormente, una esquinita de la falda, por ejemplo) y abierto el bajo y los laterales para poder coser el resto de piezas y rellenar brazos y piernas. Foto 1

2) poner brazos y piernas del derecho y ya rellenos dentro de la "bolsita" formada por el cuerpo y la cabeza ya unidos (foto 3-4) en la posición que se indica en la foto 2 pero con el cuerpo y la cabeza del revés.

3) coser todo el contorno del cuerpo con brazos y piernas en su posición, con ayuda de alfileritos.Yo lo he hecho a mano, pero se puede hacer tb a máquina, si tenéis.

4) Finalmente, sacamos los pies y las manos con cuidado y paciencia por la abertura que dejamos anteriormente y así vamos dandole la vuelta a la muñeca. Espero haberme explicado bien. ¡Que os divirtais!

1) Sew body and head together leaving an openning on the back side of the neck (I did it this way, but later was a bit delicate to turn the doll outside, so you could leave your openning at the top of the head or better still at the corner of the skirt) and you need to leave also still open the bottom and one side of the body to be able to sew legs and arms on the right place. Pic 1

2) Place legs and arms already turned out and filled inside the "bag" formed by the body and head already sewn together as you can see on pic 2. Body and head must still be outside in. See pics 3-4

3) sew all along the body with legs and arms on it's right possition, you may need the help of some pins. I've done it by hand, but you can do it with the machine if you have one. Pic 4

4) Through the openning we left at the beginning we proceed to pull out legs and arms to, carefully and patienly turn the doll outside out.

Lolilla

Por fín terminé la muñeca de Lola.
En realidad hace ya algún tiempo, pero no he encontrado un buen momento hasta ahora para colgar las fotos. A Yago le gustó mucho poder jugar con ella...
Hice un pequeño tutorial de cómo montar la muñeca una vez terminadas todas las piezas.... algún día encontraré la tranquilidad necesaria para montarlo y publicarlo en condiciones :P Aún no me salen simétricas, pero creo que eso les da su encanto. La cara está bordada.

Finally I finished Lola's doll. Well, I did it some weeks ago, but I didn't find the right time to sit down at my desk
and hung it up the pics til now. Yago was very pleased to play with her for a while...
I shooted up a little photo tutorial to show how to build the doll together... Some day I'll find peace enough to hung it up :P They are still not simetrical, but I think that adds a charming touch. The face is embroidered.

Intercambio sorpresa con Raquel

Uno de los blogs que visito asiduamente es el cocherito leré. Hace poco vi las sandalias tan bonitas que hizo Raquel para Artistas con Corazón y le pregunté si las vendía. Como no las vende (una pena) pero le gustan mis camisetas, nos propusimos un "intercambio sorpresa" sus zapatillas de croché por mis camisetas, y desde entonces, no he hecho más que esperar al cartero... ¡Y por fín han llegado!! son preciosas y Anna va a estar seguro para comérsela con ellas :D ¡Gracias Raquel! ahora sólo tengo que encontrar un hueco para terminar las camisetas y mandarlas, que seguro que ella está ya esperándolas con mucha curiosidad ;P

One of the blogs I visit frequently is el cocherito leré. Soon ago I saw the cute sandals Raquel did for Artistas con Corazón and I asked her wether she sell her stuff. She doesn't (A real pity) but I found out she like my t-shirts, so we arranged to make an "surprise exchange", her cute little shoes for my t-shirts, and since, I havn't done more than waiting for the postman... And finally they are here!! They are beautiful and Anna will surely the cutest with them :D Thanks Raquel! Now I just need some time to finish my t-shirts and send them to her, who is surely waiting them already full of curiosity ;P

Yago y Anna

¡Hola de nuevo!
Anna ya tiene tres meses y poco a poco voy reorganizándome para volver a crear y postear... espero poder hacerlo más a menudo, aunque las vacaciones están por medio y será complicado, ya veremos lo que se puede hacer...

Yago es el primer muñeco de trapo que hago. En principio lo hice pensando en mi hijo Pablo, al que le gustan los monstruos... pero Anna es la que de verdad lo disfruta. Le gusta tanto que me animé a hacer más. En cuanto tenga fotos os las presentaré ya que están repartidas por ahí, con las amiguitas de Anna. Es mejorable, pero creo que no me ha salido mal para ser el primero.
Me encantaron las muñecas que Rosa Pomar enseña en su Blog y me puse a buscar otros ejemplos en otros blogs de artesanas y apañás y esto es lo que salió. Gracias a todas. Me encantan los muñecos de Herzensart (los viquingos son geniales) y los "beluñecos" de Belula me han servido de inspiración para calentar motores...


Hello again!
Anna is already three months old and slowly, i'm rearranging my time to be able to create and post again... I hope I can do it more often, although hollidays are on the way and it will be difficult...let's see

Yago is the first fabric doll i make. It came thinking on my son Pablo, who like monsters... but Anna is who really enjoys it. She likes it so much that i thought of making more. As soon as I have pics of them i'll introduce them to you, as they are allready away, amusing friends of little Anna. I know it can be improoved, but I think is not bad at all for being the first one!
I love the dolls Rosa Pomar shows on her blog and I begun to have a look to other crafters' blogs and that's what came up. Thank you all. I love the ones from Herzensart (particularly the vikings are terrific) and the "beluñecos" from Belula have been my inspiration to warm up the machine...

I.F.String

Un cordón de barcas esperando al nuevo día en Coria del Río (río Guadalquivir). Es el último encargo de pintura, entregado hace un par de meses. Me pareció apropiado para incluirlo en el tema que propone esta semana Illustration Friday Habría preferido hacer algo nuevo, pero últimamente me es muy difícil, y ya me habeis pedido algunos de vosotros que vuelva a postear (¿verdad, Marina? como ves, no me olvido). Intentaré postear más con cosas nuevas a partir de la semana que viene, pero de momento, sólo lo puedo hacer en el estudio, y estoy hasta arriba de trabajo (¡gracias a Dios!).

A string of boats waiting for the new day in Coria del Río (Guadalquivir river, Spain). His is the last commisioned artwork i've done, gave away a couple of months ago. I thought it fitted into this week I.F.'s topic "string" (At least it makes sense in Spanish) I would rather have done something new, but, lately it's very difficult to me to find some peace to draw by hand, and some of you have already asked me to post again. I'll try to post with new stuff up to next week, but, at the moment, I can just do it from The Studio, and I'm pilled up with work right now (Thanks God!)

Me gustaría tener una cámara panorámica o un gran angular para poder mostraros el estudio como Dios manda, pero nos tendremos que conformar con lo que hay, así que imaginaos el mural alrededor vuestro... Por fin lo hemos terminado :D ya sólo quedan las puertas... a ver cuándo tenemos tiempo de nuevo... paciencia!

I whish I had a panoramic view camera or so to show the studio as it deserves, but it will have to do so, please, imagine that the mural flows around you.... Finally it´s finished :D the doors are the only thing left to do... let´s see when we have again time to do them... be patience!

Vuelvo a trabajar!!!! Jupiiii!!!!!

¡Por fin se puede decir que oficialmente he vuelto al trabajo!
y es que ya estoy en el nuevo estudio (aunque aún quedan multitud de cajas por abrir y cositas que colgar y aún no tenemos internet) y parece que empezamos a funcionar. En realidad tengo poco tiempo pues voy sólo tres dias en semana, pero estoy atacando por tres frentes, así que espero no tardar mucho en postear más asiduamente. Pablo está cada vez mayor y da menos trabajo, pero aún así requiere mucha atención y mientras no vaya a la guarderia, nos toca hacer turnos. Vuelvo a ilustrar con ordenador, estoy sacando camisetas como churros , casi, sigo metida en el cuadro del rio para mi hermano, y no paran de salirme encargos de pintura y diseño Hoy he encontrado un hueco para colgar fotos de mis ultimas camisetas.

Now I can say I'm officially back to work!
I'm already in the new studio (even when we still have a mountin of still-sealed boxes, stuff to be hanged and we still havn't dsl conextion) it looks like it begins to go running. In fact i have very little time as i go only three days a week, but i'm trying hard, so I hope not to be long to post again more often. Pablo is everyday bigger and better and needs everyday lees effort, but still demands a lot of attention and until he can go to kindergarden, we have to make shifts.
I illustrate again with my mac, i'm doing loads of t-shirts, i'm deep inside my brothers' painting of the river and i get a few commisions for more paintings and designs. Today I found my little space to hang up my last t-shirts. Hope you loke them.

El cuarto de Pablo

Mirad qué paredes!!!
Gracias a las artísticas manos de Marta y Berta y a los sudores de Chris, Javi y Holger, el cuarto de Pablo ya está terminado y ha quedado genial. ¡¡Al menos a nosotros nos encanta!!
Cuando por fín llegue lo va a disfrutar como nadie. Me encanta el sol :D
Gracias niñ@s!!! es el mejor regalo que nos han hecho hasta ahora para Pablete ;P

Por fin más fieltro

por fin cuelgo las fotos de las gallinitas de fieltro,y es que lo prometido es deuda, aunque con un retraso casi impresentable por mi parte. Lo siento.
Como ya os conté en su momento, son 12 gallinas de fieltro que regalé a mi suegri (suegra suena demasiado mal para una persona tan linda!!) para mantener los huevos del desayuno calentitos. Las fotos no son muy buenas, pero espero que os hagais una idea de cómo están hechas. En las hueveras bajas quedan genial, pero ahora pienso que debí haberles cosido unas patitas que colgaran para cuando se usa una huevera de pié alto, quedaría más gracioso. En fin, para las próximas :P

De nuevo ha nacido un peque en mi circulillo (esta vez un peque-bético, por ello tanto verde y blanco) y me he vuelto a poner manos a la obra.
La verdad es que estoy "requete"-motivada con mi propio embarazo y tengo mil ideas en la cabeza ultimamente (este bichillo que llevo dentro me está recargando de creatividad y poco a poco vuelve mi energía... je, je, le voy a nombrar mi "musa" particular. Ni os imaginais las ganas que tengo de verle. De momento aún no le notamos moverse, pero ya entramos en la semana 19, así que pronto lo podremos sentir :D ahh)

Conjuntito para Fernando

Hola coleguis!
Este ha sido mi último proyecto, con ayuda de mi amiga Marta. (espero que no te importe que lo cuelgue aquí...)
Es un regalito para Fernando, que se bautizó el sábado y que espero que lo disfrute. Yo sé a quién se le va a caer la baba cuando le vea así vestidito... La verdad es que ha sido divertido. Tendrá que repetirse.
