¡Qué bien que todas me mandais fotitos de camisetas en acción, de verdad que es magnífico verlas puestas, se hacen con tanto cariño que luego de pena no saber más de ellas, pero ya veo que al pollo loco le va divinamente y hasta ve mundo :D además de venirle a Inés como anillo al dedo, porque esta niña no tiene pinta ni de aburrida ni de sosa jaja más bien tooodo lo contrario ;P

I'm very glad that you are sending me pics of my t-shirts in action, really it's great to see them again . I make them with such care and love that not knowing more about them when i give them away it's a pity. But now I can see that "crazy chicken" is doing pretty well, and even seing world  : D on top of suiting Inés like a glove, because this girl does not exactly look boring or dull ...  seems to me rather the opposite haha ;P

Cumpleaños de Ana

Camiseta a modo de retrato de la lindísima Ana, encargada con motivo de su cumple. La verdad es que la mamá  ha aportado una foto tan dulce de una niña tan mona que el trabajo ha sido un placer. Sencillo, pero bonito.

T-shirt as  portrait of  the very pretty Ana, commissioned on the occasion of her birthday. The truth is that her mum has provided me with such a sweet picture of so cute a girl,  that my work has been a pleasure. Simple, but nice.

Cádiz y última camiseta

Este fin de semana estuve en Cadiz. Hizo un dia espléndido y estuvimos casi todo el tiempo en la calle y en la playa... Estuvo muy bien. En una placita del barrio de la Viña vimos esta escena y no me pude resistir a fotografiarla. Atención al cartel y a la portería "portátil" (Quizá tengais que ampliar la foto). Genial.

El Lunes, de vuelta al trabajo hice esta camiseta para una niña que adora las hadas y los elfos...Y no sé porqué intuyo que no será la única, de hecho aún me extraña que el tema haya tardado tanto en salir..hmm

This weekend I was in Cadiz. It was a splendid day and we were almost all the time on the street and on the beach ... It was very good. In a small square in  "La Viña" neighborhood we saw this scene and I could not resist taking a picture. Pay attention to the sign on the wall saying "ball playing forbidden" and the portable goal. (You may have to zoom in the pic) Just great.

On Monday, back to work I made this T-shirt for a girl who loves fairies and elves ... I do not know why I feel that it will not be the only one, in fact I still wonder why the fairies has taken so long to show up. hmm ..

Otras dos camisetas para sendas hermanitas de Madrid, encargadas para Navidad y que ahora por fin puedo enseñar. Las niñas, mamá y tita quedaron encantadas y yo más de que todas estemos contentas :D

Rocio de  Regalos a Mano  me ha enviado estas fotos de sus sobrinas con las camisetas que ella me encargó estas navidades. Es una de las pocas ocasiones en las que un cliente me envia fotos de las camisetas "en acción" así que me ha hecho bastante "ilu" y por eso os las enseño ahora con su permiso ;P
 A mi me parece que las modelos son y están lindísimas con sus camisetas y esta noche dormiré feliz :D

Otra camino de Finlandia :D

Pues eso, esta vuela con el dragón a tierras muy nevadas... Santa no podía dejar a su hermana Emma sin su "camiseta Ilustradero", no sería justo ;P

Exactly, this one goes flying away to the snowy finnish lands with the dragon one... Santa could not leve her sister Emma without another Ilustradero T-shirt, it wouldn't be fair :P

I.F. Mail (Ho,Ho,Ho)

El tema de esta semana que propone Illustration Friday es "mail" (correo) ... y es gracioso porque precisamente esta semana estoy enviando un montón de camisetas por correo a los ayudantes de Papá Noel que hay repartidos por el mundo para ayudarle un poco :D
Esta se vá nada más y nada menos que a Finlandia, para una chica que quedé tan encantada con su último regalo de cumpleaños que ha pedido a Papa Noel en su carta "otra camiseta Ilustradero", y a mí me alegra mucho, mucho poder colaborar con él ilustrándola. Ha sido muy divertido ;P

Con la Playa en la cabeza...

 Con el frio y la humedad que hay últimamente por estas tierras sureñas, no sabeis lo bien que sienta pintar una camiseta así, pensando en la playa, las vacaciones, el sol calentándonos la piel, el sonido del mar y de los niños jugando.... ahhh!!! ¡¡qué bien!! ya llegará de nuevo, cuando sea el momento ;P
.... ahora lo que tengo frente a mí son un buen número de encargos para el día 21 y unas navidades blancas muy blancas y de seguro entrañables, ya que nuestra peque va a ver la nieve por primera vez en su vida :D
Espero que el año que entra sea tan bueno o más que éste.
Gracias a todos por vuestros comentarios, que de verdad que calientan mi ánimo como una buena taza de café en estas tardes taaan frias de invierno :D

In this cold and humed weather we have lately in this southern lands, you can imagine how good it feels to paint a T-shirt like this and think about the beach, the  holidays, the sun warming the skin, the sound of the ocean and children playing .. .. ahhh! How good! well, sommer will come again, when it is time ;P 

.... but now what I have before me are a good number of orders for December the 21st and a white, very white Christmas and surely very special, as our "little one" will see snow for the first time in her life :D
I hope the coming year is as good or more as this one has been.

Post sobre Ilustradero en Artesanio

Jose de Artesanio  ha publicado un post sobre mis camisetas en su fantástico y completísimo blog, por lo que estoy muy agradecida.  (es casi una biografia :D )Perdonad que no postee con nuevas creaciones, pero estoy convaleciente de una contractura lumbar que me está dando mucha guerra. En cuanto vaya terminando encargos, los iré subiendo al blog. Y poco a poco tengo en mente renovar el look de éste... espero que a mejor, así que os pido paciencia si hay tardanza o pasan cosas rarasss   : /

 

Jose from Artesanio  has published a post about my t-shirts in his fantastic and very complete blog, and I'm very grateful. (It is almost a biography: D) Sorry not to post with new creations, but I'm recovering from a lumbar contracture that is giving me a lot of trouble. As i  finish orders, I will upload them here. And soon i would like to renew the look of this bblog ... I hope for a nicer one, so please be patient if  it takes long or there are weird things happening : /

Una mamá de Logroño  y su bebé, van a ir muy conjuntadas a partir de ahora gracias al regalo que una amiga me ha encargado, esta tierna y gustosa (algodón orgánico) pareja de pajaritos. Espero que las disfruten mucho, mucho, mucho :D

In Logroño (La Rioja, north Spain) a mother and her baby will  look  terrific from now on thanks to the gift that a friend has ordered me.

La Revista digital alemana Caiman publica en su número de Noviembre un artículo titulado "camisetas con humor" y estoy supercontenta. Es mi primera entrevista digital y aún no me lo creo. Parece que el trabajo está dando frutos y estoy recibiendo sorpresas tan agradables como esta. Gracias Berthold, gracias Dirk!  Tienen edición en español y portugués ademas de la alemana, así que podeis leerla si quereis.

The German digital magazine Caiman publishes an article called "t-shirts with humor" and I'm soooo happy :D   It's my first digital interview and I can't believe it. It seems work is finally giving fruits and I'm getting such nice surprises as this one. Thanks, Berthold, thanks Dirk!

They have edit in German, spanish and Portuguese, so you chave more chances to read it.

I.F. Race

El tema de Ilustration Friday esta semana es "Race" (carrera) y me viene genial, por dos razones...

La primera, que acabo de terminar esta pareja de camisetas de mi querido aviador, esta vez en globo. ¿Quién llegará antes, Curro o Martin?

Y la segunda es que yo misma estoy ya a la carrera... contra el reloj! Ya que se acerca el miércoles 27, día de la inauguración de Diversia 2010, donde, como ya sabeis, tendré mi primer stand. ¡¡Qué ilusión y qué nervios!! Creo que lo tengo más o menos todo preparado, pero siempre ocurren cositas de última hora y esta cabecita no va a descansar hasta que pasen las 2 o 3 primeras horas de atención al público.... Espero relajarme y disfrutar ;P

Ni que decir tiene que mi próximo post, será seguramente sobre ello....

This week Ilustration Friday's topic is "Race" and it suits me right now smooth for two reasons...

First, I have just finished this pair of t-shirts of my dear aviator, this time on  balloon . Who will be the winner, Curro or Martin?

And the second is that I myself am already on  a race... against the clock! now that Wednesday the 27th,  opening day of Diversia 2010, draws nearer and where as you know, I'll have my first stand.

How exciting and how nervous I am! I think I have pretty much  everything already, but  there can be always little things happening in the last minute and this head of mine will not rest until they pass the first 2 or 3 hours with the public .... I hope I can relax and enjoy : P 

I suppose my next post will be about it ....

Este pequeño emperador es el último encargo que he entregado hace unos dias. Ahora mismo estoy a tope, entre encargos para navidad, un cumpleaños y la feria de diversidad cultural y empresarial en la que participaré los días 28, 29 y 30 de Octubre aquí en Sevilla. Es la primera vez que me voy de feria y ya tengo los nervios típicos del principiante... (¡a mi edad!).

Quería llevar un buen numero de camisetas y un par de proyectos más que estoy preparando, ya que estaré allí durante tres dias y no quiero quedarme corta. El sábado es el último día y seguramente el que tendrá mayor afluencia de público... Pero no voy al ritmo que esperaba, así que perdonadme si no posteo lo suficiente en los próximos dias... que estaré a cuatro manos... :P

This little emperor is the last order I have delivered a few days ago. Right now I'm as busy as a bee, including orders for Christmas, a birthday and a cultural and business diversity  fair in which I will participate the next 28th, 29th and 30th of the present month here in Sevilla. This is the first time I attend a fair as participant and I have the typical beginner's nerves ... (At my age!).
I wanted to take a good number of shirts and a couple of projects I am preparing, as I will be there for three days and do not want to fall short. Saturday is the last day and surely that will have greater numbers of people ... But not at the pace I expected, so forgive me if I do not post enough in the coming days ... I'll be working with four hands ... : P
