Platos

 

El próximo dia 9 seré madrina de un bautizo, y quería que mi regalo fuera especial. Así que encargué estos platos personalizados y ya han llegado. Han quedado muy bien, aunque (lo sé, soy una perfeccionistaaaa) he mejorar las imágenes para los próximos que haga. En breve voy a hacer una tirada de platos, tanto hondos como llanos. Si os gustan y quereis hacer algún pedido personalizado, es el momento. Me gustaría tenerlos aquí para finales de Septiembre. Salen de precio de venta al público en 16€, más gastos de envio. Son de melamina muy resistente, de fabricación alemana (nada de china) y unicos o en tiradas muy reducidas. Un regalo muy especial.

The next day 9 I will be Godmother  in a baptism, and I wanted my gift to be special. So I custom order these dishes and they have just  arrived. They look very nice, though (I know, I am a perfeccionist.....) I'll have to improve the images for the next ones. Shortly I'll order  a print run of dishes, both deep and flat. If you like them and you want to do a custom order, it's the right time. I would like to have them here by the end of September. Final price will be 16 € a piece,  plus shipping if you live away . They are very durable melamine, made ​​in Germany (no china) and unique units or very limited runs. A very special gift.

 

Cumpleaños feeeliiiiiiiz!!! :D

Hoy ha sido mi cumpleaños. Gracias a los que os habeis acordado de un dia tan especial. Y los que no...¡¡poneos las pilas!! jajaja, (lo dice la que peor memoria tiene del mundo... estais perdonados ;P  )

Esto es lo que ha quedado de la riquíiisima tarta de chocolate y tiramisú que me han hecho en casa :D
¡¡¡y tengo un "vale por" una cámara de fotos nueva!! yupiiiiii!!! La nuestra la hemos perdido en las vacaciones :(  Así que, aunque he estado trabajando desde que llegué, no he posteado nada por falta de imágenes y de tiempo, principalmente. Mil perdones.


Mañana más, si me dejan los niños. ¡¡qué ganas tengo de que empiecen el cole y la guardería!!
Los que teneis encargos pendientes, no desespereis, no os he olvidado, pero está siendo complicado dedicarle al trabajo todo el tiempo y la concentración que requiere. Hago lo que puedo hasta el dia 12 que por fin empieza el cole.

A veces creo que en España, las vacaciones de verano son demasiado largas, y las demás demasiado cortas. ¿no os parece?

Today was my birthday. Thanks to all of you who remembered such a special day. And those who didn't.... (said by the person with the worst memory in this world ... You are of course, forgiven ;P)

And I got a "new camera bonus" jihaaaa!!!  We've lost our Lumix this hollidays :( That's why I have posted so little lately, even when I've been working all the time... No images to show, no time enough with kids 24h at home. My apologizes.

Tomorrow more , if my kids allow me to work . My goodness, how I wish the school and kindergarden started tomorrow!!

Please, all of you who still have pending orders , do not despair, I have not forgotten you, but right now it is still difficult to dedicate to work all the time and concentration it requires. I really do what I can until september 12 when school begins.

Sometimes I think that in Spain the summer holidays are too long and the others too short. Don't you think?

Hippie Yippie!

Esta vez os muestro un  par de camisetas para un par de gemelos. Me encanta la tela de motivos hippies. Es una lástima que sólo compré medio metro para hacer las furgonetas, porque está agotada. Y es de una calidad buenísima a parte de bonita y divertida... grrrr.... a veces pienso que debería comprar más cantidad de este tipo de telas, pero luego veo la torre de retales y piezas de tela que tengo y pienso que voy a tener que mudarme para tener más sitio y que no hace falta, que tengo de sobra... y al final, las hecho de menos porque en el fondo la propia tela me inspira nuevas ideas... en fin, un viejo dilema de artista/artesana.... con el material de pintura y dibujo me pasa igual. Gracias a Dios tengo un estudio.... ; P

 A couple of shirts to a pair of twins this time. I love the hippie motives of the fabric. It is a pity that I bought only half a meter to make the vans, because it is sold out. And is of a very good quality apart from being beautiful and fun ... grrrr .... I sometimes think I should buy more of these fabrics, but then I see the tower of scraps and pieces of fabric  I have and I think I will have to move to have more room and think to myself "you do not need it, you have enough to spare"... and in the end, I miss it because really the fabric itself inspires me new ideas ... in short, an old dilemma of the artist / artisan in me .... with my painting and drawing materials is the same. Thank God I have a studio .... ; P

Yago al ataque de nuevo

Hace algunos dias, una mamá inquieta, me encargó que hiciera un par de camisetas "sufridas" y divertidas para dos "adorables terremotos"... Y se me ocurrió que Yago era perfecto para la ocasión, así que Voilá! este es el resultado. 

Nos encanta a todos en casa, así que supongo que haré alguna más :D

A few days ago, a very active mother, asked me to produce a couple of tuff and fun t-shirts for two "cute" little earthquakes ... And I thought that Yago was perfect for the occasion, so voila! this is the result.

We love it at home, so I guess I'll do some more  : D

Más vikingos para la colección

No sé porqué los vikingos tienen tanto atractivo, a mi, personalmente me encantan y parece que a los niños también, porque llevo ya unos cuantos encargos de vikingos :D
Este lote va para Valencia. Espero que lo disfruten ;P

I do not know why Vikings have so much success... I love them, personally and it seems children do love them too, because I have got already a few orders of Vikings:D

Piratas a por el tesoro

Otro mural que ya había hecho hace un par de meses, en abril, concretamente, y que por problemas técnicos, no he podido fotografiar como se merece. La pared es enorme, 6m de largo y es el "cabecero" de las camas de dos hermanos a los que les gustan los piratas.
La "Familia pez" ya tiene sus fans en Facebook y de hecho la he incluido en el último mural de nuevo a petición del cliente ;P Para que os hagais una idea, la familia de peces va justo encima de la mesilla de noche que queda entre las dos camas y el barco pirata justo encima de la cómoda. Espero que me manden una foto del cuarto cuando esté amueblado y perfecto, porque no sé a vosotros, pero a mi me gustaría mucho verlo completo :D

This is another mural I already did a couple of months ago, in April. Because of technical problems, I could not photograph it as it  deserves. The wall is huge, 6m long and is the "head" of the beds of two brothers who like pirates.

The "Fish Family" has its fans on Facebook and in fact I have included them in the last mural on customer's request ;P 
To give you an idea, the fish family is just above the bedside table between the two beds and the pirate ship just above the dresser. I hope they send me a photo of the room when it is furnished and perfect, because I do not know what you think, but I would love to see it complete  : D

Mural Pirata

 Mi último mural ha sido para dos hermanos en su nuevo cuarto. A partir de ahora surcarán los mares del sur en busca de tesoros escondidos o charlarán con la familia pez, por ejemplo :D

Hace algunas semanas que lo terminé y todos los que me seguís en Facebook habeis podido ir viendo el proceso, el paso a paso. Aunque las fotos son lo mejor que he podido obtener dadas las características de la habitación (muy laaarga y estrecha) espero que los que no teneis acceso a Facebook, os podais hacer una idea del resulado final con el pequeño montaje que he hecho. Si algún día consigo fotos mejores, no dudeis en que las sustituiré por estas.

La semana que viene empiezo otro, y aunque aún no está muy claro el tema... sí sé que habrá castillos, caballeros, princesas y quizá alguna sirena... a ver en qué acaba :D

My latest mural has been for two brothers in their new room. From now on they will sail the South Seas in search of hidden treasures, or have a chat with the Fish family, for example : D

I finished it a few weeks ago and all who follow me on Facebook, have been watching the process, step by step. Although the photos are the best that I could get given the characteristics of the room (very looong and narrow) I hope everyone that hasn't been able to see it in Facebook can get an idea of the result with the small photocollage I have done. If i ever get better pictures,I'll replace them for these.

Next week I start another mural painting, and although the subject is still not clear... I know there will be castles, knights, princesses and maybe a mermaid ... Let's see what finally comes up : D

...y llegaron a Holanda :D

Camisetas camino de Holanda

Tiene gracia. El mundo está lleno de coincidencias y casualidades que nos hacen sonreir a menudo....

Esta semana he terminado un encargo para dos niñas holandesas, Nora y su hermana Lotta. Ayer mismo hice el envío y ahora que me disponía a publicar este post con fotos de las mismas, me llega un comentario de una blogera y seguidora mia que le da un premio a este blog.... y resulta que vive en Holanda. :D
Se llama Marga y escribe unos posts estupendos, de los que enganchan. Muchas gracias Marga, te agradezco mucho el premio y que me sigas de vez en cuando y te guste lo que hago. Gracias de corazón.

No dejeis de visitar su batiburrillo, porque no tiene desperdicio :D

It's funny. The world is full of coincidences that make us smile often ....

This week I finished a commission for two Dutch girls, Nora and her sister, Lotta. Just yesterday I shipped them and I was about to publish this post with pictures of them, whenI get a comment from a blogger and follower that gives a prize to this blog .... and lives also in Holland. : D

She is called Marga and write great posts,those who keep you paasted to the screen for hours. Marga,thank you very much, I deeply appreciate the award and the fact that you follow me occasionally and enjoyes what I do. Heartfull thanks.

Próximamente se casa alguen muy querido. Esta ilustración es parte de la papelería que se va a utilizar para su celebración. Me he divertido mucho haciéndola. Más adelante colgaré también la invitación y quizás alguna foto

Delantales

Por fin hoy me he decidido a hacerle algunas fotos a los delantales que diseñé cuando hice la cocinita de juguete . Nunca encuentro el momento adecuado, intento que mis hijos hagan de modelos, pero muchas veces no hay exito jaja, así que hoy decidí tenderlos al sol en la azotea de casa, y justo cuando subí, se fué el sol radiante casi de verano que teníamos y empezó a ventear...
En fin, este es el resultado de mi sesión fotográfica de hoy. No muy exitosa, la verdad. Pero espero que sirva par enseñaros por fin los delantales que he estado haciendo últimamente. Son reversibles y las cintas "corren" arriba y abajo, por lo que se pueden ajustar a distintas alturas. Algunos modelos (como el de la sandía) los tengo a juego madre o padre e hijo. Otros sólo los hay de niño/a y la talla viene a ser más o menos entre la 3 años y la 8. Los de adulto cubren sin problemas los 1,85m que mide mi marido. Y los puedo hacer en otros tamaños, con otras telas... De momento hay bolsillos de sandía, huevo frito, manzana y plátano y probablemente se me ocurra alguno más ;D

Finally, today I decided to take some pictures of the aprons I designed when I did the toy kitchen. I never find the right time, try my children to do modeling, (but there is often no success ha ha), so today decided to go to the roof of the house to take them, and just when I went,  the summer sunshine that we had went away and a wild wind came ...

Anyway, this is the result of my photo shoot today. Not very successful, really. But I hope it will finally show you some aprons I've been doing lately.They are all reversible and straps "run" up and down, so it can be adjusted to different heights. Some models (like "watermelon") come in twins: both mother /father and son sizes. Others just come in child size and height suits more or less between 3 and 8 years . The adult size covers without problems the 1.85 meters of my husband's. And I can do in other sizes, other fabric combinations ... At the moment there are pockets in the shape of watermelon, fried egg, apple and banana and probably I will think on more of the sort  ; D

El tren de Sebastián...por la via va!

Sebastián ya tiene su tren regalo de su 4º cumpleaños... Y está muy contento :D

Y con esta creo que sólo me falta una nave espacial y un submarino para completar mi colección de transportes... ¿Me falta alguno más?

Sebastián got his train for his 4th birthday, as he asked... And is as happy as Larry, I have heard :D

And with this I think I just need a spaceship and a submarine to complete my collection of transport ... Am I missing any more?
